My submission for Mini Jame Gam #47.
This is my very first submission to a game jam!
Idle clicker.
Sorry about the random audio crackling. Seems to be an issue with Godot & web exports. I tested several workarounds but nothing worked here.
Also, audio is very buggy on mobile - or it's just my old-ass phone.
Credits:

With more time, I'd add:
- more hen updates (only 2 atm)
- clicker updates
- more items
- a story
- a background
- more eggs
I didn't format it for very high numbers. So if you go high enough, you should get negative eggs. But that should take a very long time - I did not test it.

Simple little game, but I really enjoy what's here! I especially really liked how the cost to upgrade the hens scaled with how many hens you have purchased. It adds a degree of strategy that got me thinking about whether to get an extra hen or save up instead. If given more content, this could be a pretty fun clicker game.

-you could perhaps ask other game uploaders about the sound issue. if they also use godot engine
-nice song. could use less wigger... dont emulate others. use own voice all the way. only then will you stick out.
-(no cracking in my gaming session, btw. win10/opera gx)
- you could add physics to the eggs and make use of those physics. so players can manipulate the efficieny perhaps in a way. just simple physics. and if not, then players can at least throw the eggs around ;)
- I looked on reddit & godot forums, I tried several workarounds, but still the problem stayed. So idk for now.
- not sure about your comment ^^ this isn't my voice, I didn't make the song, I found it on YouTube, it's a copyright-free song. I found it, liked it, and it gave me the idea to animate the hens bopping their heads.

- great idea! I tried making a idle-clicker with physics a while back. And the FPS dropped fast with too many physics items. So I didn't even tried here to add physics. But reading your comment, it makes me think I could add physics on just a few eggs at once: the egg the player clicks on, and the previous eggs he just threw - before they disappear off-screen. That'd be fun, yes.

you put a lot of dedication into this game! I love it, as a starting developer myself (2 years) I don't think I could make this XD. also when you have to buy he super sayhens or whatever the price increases by 1000 when you upgrade something
Thanks ^^ you know I started using Godot 2 years ago. And I had no game dev experience before that. You can do it, just keep coding!
Yes, the +1000 is on purpose. The upgrade costs 1000 + 1000/hen you have. The super sayhen upgrade is op so I wanted a high price. But I didn't have time to test a lot and it may be unbalanced.

also the fact chicken upgrades increase in price the more chickens you have is annoying
Yes, it needs more upgrades. This was made in a day for a game jam. Maybe I'll come back to it after the jam is over.
